FAQ

How can I be sure that an Applied Motion gearhead with fit on my motor?
All gearhead orders require information about the motor that it will be mounted on. Our customer service group has been trained to confirm the motor model number even for orders that include a motor. This ensures that the proper mounting hardware is included with the gearhead when it ships.

How do I install an Applied Motion gearhead onto a motor?
Installation instructions are included with each gearhead and the process is relatively easy. The pinion gear is first installed in the proper location on the motor shaft, then the gearhead housing is fitted over the shaft and bolted to the motor flange. All hardware is included.
