Product Details
The 7080 step motor drive, for use in step & direction applications, can microstep 2-phase step motors at resolutions of 200 to 50,800 steps per revolution. The 7080 employs MOSFET, three-state switching amplifiers and opto-isolated input circuits. The 7080 also includes an automatic feature to lower motor current by 50% anytime the motor is left at rest for more than one second. This feature is switch selectable.
The 7080 regulates motor current by chopping at a constant, inaudible frequency. Motor phase current and step resolution are selected by a DIP switch.
