The SV200 servo drives utilize programmable notch filters, an anti-vibration algorithm and auto-tuning. These features ensure smooth motion and accurate positioning for the most demanding applications, as well as an easy means of configuring the drive. The SV200 servo drives are designed to be used with J Series servo motors in the 200W, 400W and 750W power range. Select the control option of the SV200 servo drive that best meets your control requirements. For basic pulse & direction or analog torque/velocity applications choose the P model. For streaming commands, stored program execution or Modbus communications choose the Q model. For CANopen networking choose the C model, and for EtherNet/IP networking choose the IP model.
StepSERVO™ Closed Loop Integrated Motors offer many advantages over traditional step motor systems, including higher torque and acceleration, higher machine throughput, better efficiency and quieter operation. Starting with a proven integrated motor design, we add a high-resolution incremental encoder and closed-loop servo firmware to create peak torques up to 50% higher than a conventionally operated step motor, while running the motor at much cooler temperatures and with less audible noise. Available in 40, 60, and 80 mm industry standard frame sizes, they have comparable speed and torque ratings to popular low inertia servo motors with continuous speeds to 3,000 RPM and maximum speeds to 5,000 RPM. The laser welded segmented stator pole construction allows for maximum copper fill and our proprietary encapsulation method enables maximum heat transfer. This results in higher performance and lower operating temperatures. The benefit is more torque and speed in a smaller space. Additionally, lower temperatures lead to longer life.
