Port Congestion and Vessel Delay Affecting Delivery of Goods

February 22, 2021

A surge in container shipping volumes during the second half of 2020 has created numerous challenges for shippers, ports, and carriers over the past several months. Shipping containers are delayed globally, including shipments from China to the United States. Unprecedented staffing, equipment, and volume challenges are overwhelming ports, carriers, railroads, and truckers throughout the United States, causing multi-week delays and higher costs to route shipments through the nation's congested seaports, airports, and rail ramps. All of this is impacting our ability to ship products to our customers in a timely manner.

Please understand that Applied Motion Products is working diligently with our freight and trade partners to mitigate shipment delays and prioritize the delivery of our products from ports to our warehouse, and on to our customers.

If you have any questions or concerns about your shipments with Applied Motion Products, please call 1-800-525-1609 to speak with our operations team.
