ATX West 2016 Wrap-Up

by Eric Rice

If you missed Applied Motion Products at ATX West in Anaheim, CA this past February 9-11 you can still catch a glimpse of the action. A video recap of the show is available here.

Highlights of the show include the introduction of larger NEMA 34 frame StepSERVO™ closed loop integrated motors, which provide higher acceleration rates, more torque, better efficiency, cooler operation and quieter operation than traditional step motor systems. The NEMA 34 frame size is a welcome addition to the StepSERVO family, and an excellent choice for applications requiring greater output torque.

Other products introduced at the show were stand-alone, non-integrated StepSERVO motor and drive components, a Power over Ethernet (POE) version of the TSM11 StepSERVO integrated motor, the ultra-compact STR3 stepper drive, and DC powered versions of the SV200 Series Digital Servo Drives.
