Applied motion Products is pleased to announce our new PG series of inexpensive planetary gears. Custom designed for use with our new line of brushless DC motors, our first model is available in 42 mm diameter with as many as three gear stages and a wide variety of reduction ratios ranging from 3.65:1 to 393:1. See the website for stocked standard ratios. Output torques ratings range from 3.0 to 15 N-m (425 to 2100 oz-in).
Applied Motion is pleased to announce the addition of an encoder option to our IP65 rated stepping motors. We accomplish an IP65 rating of the encoder by enclosing it in a metal cover with an integrated o-ring for added protection. This provides the necessary protection to meet industry standard IP65 requirements. Both the motor and encoder leads have cable glands for seal tight protection. All in all, these features contribute to an excellent design where protection of the motor and encoder are of paramount concern.
Applied Motion Products is proud to announce the release of our new line of brushless DC motor drives. The BD5 is a brushless DC motor drive that is based on advanced control technology featuring excellent performance and ease of use. The drive is aimed at OEM applications that require high performance, high speed stability, basic speed control and low cost.
Torque You Very Much. That’s what step motors are all about – bringing torque to the application. The exceptional low speed torque of a step motor can be used to accelerate a heavy load or overcome stiff friction, in many cases providing enough excess torque to avoid the use of an expensive gear reducer. It’s no surprise that our most popular motors are the HT17-275 and HT23-601, each providing the highest torque in their respective frame sizes, NEMA 17 and NEMA 23.
STAC5 stepper drives from Applied Motion Products are the ultimate in step motor control. But we haven’t stopped there in our effort to make them the premier stepper drives in the world!
Applied Motion Products is pleased to announce the addition of NEMA size 23, 24 and 34 stepper motors with IP65 ratings for operation in severe environmental conditions. These new models, dust proof and resistant to low pressure water jets, are ideal for applications in wet factory environments such as the food and beverage industry or outdoor use.
Applied Motion Products is pleased to announce the release of a new, 16 page Servo Products Datasheet. This colorful brochure details our broad servo system offering, with M and V series motors ranging from 50 to 750 watts of continuous output power and both AC and DC powered drives from our popular BLu and SV lines. All motors include precision incremental encoder feedback.
For many of our customers, the LabVIEW™ software application from National Instruments is a central control piece. One of the great reasons to choose Applied Motion drives and motors when using LabVIEW is our powerful serial command language (SCL). SCL is a text-based command language with a simple and intuitive syntax.
